I know I keep harping on about my neck but it's been really bad over the last few days.

Last night I found an old packet of diclofenac which I'd had prescribed for me years ago when I pulled the muscles in my back. It had one 75mg tablet left in it. I took the tablet and within ten minutes the pain eased and this morning it's fine. It's like magic.

My question is, is there anything equivalent to this which I can get from the chemist? I have some Voltarol Pain ezze but they are 25mg and they don't do anything. It says take one four times a day but could I take three at a time?

Sorry to highjack your thread Tilly I just wanted to catch Sqad while he was about.
My friend takes Diclofenac and swears by them and I use Voltarol cream on my knees. They don't agree with everyone though, my husband was put on them after a shoulder op and they made him violently sick so now can't take them. Hope your neck feels better soon and you are out of pain. Happy New Year :0)
Anne......if a drug is not "doing the job" then there is little point in taking it, but if it is "doing the job" and there is no GOOD reason to discontinue it, then one should continue taking it.

I have personal views on "drug interaction."...;-)
Sorry almost forgot...thank you and a happy New Year to you and your husband.
