Sub 0G Suitcases

Does anyone have these cases and are they any good?

I've got the 10kg Carry-On version - accepted by Ryanair - very light and very easy to pack/wheel/carry.

A friend has the larger 20kg version - just as easy to use and it is surviving trips in the hold very well so far.

I have one (the carry-on) - very light and seems sturdy enough. It might let the rain in, though - I haven't yet had to take the risk.

I`ve never heard of them. I`m not saying that they are not good but there are only two brands of cases to buy - Samsonite and Delsey. They are more expensive but they will give you years of travelling.

Samsonite will repair your bags for decades afterwards. But they're not the lightest.

I've got two of these. They are brilliant, very light and strong. Apparently they are made out of the same material as parachutes, so it is tough. If one of them should get a hole then it won't ladder or run. After I heard this I checked one of my cases and it does have a very tiny hole, but it hasn't got any bigger 3 flights later! Don't listen to the snobs - there are only two brands of cases to buy. Are there heck! My sub og case has been on two or three flights a year since I got it and I love it. I often fly Ryanair and with this case I can take much more stuff than with a samsonite!
