Dictionary

[Slogger]

For quite a few years I have used an Oxford Interactive Dictionary/Encyclopedia on the various systems on Windows. Since "progressing??" to Windows 7 and Windows 8 (horrible system!) I find the program is now incompatible. I have tried for months to find a similar replacement with absolutely no success whatsoever. Does anyone have any bright ideas please? Happy New Year to all.

TheSage is free, comprehensive and totally wonderful. (I love it!). The website says that it's compatible with Windows 7. Although it doesn't mention Windows 8, I suspect that it's only because the website hasn't been updated:
