Lost poem

I've been trying to find this poem for ages!

I can only remember one line though - 'paint the sky crimson and swallow the sun'. It's not 'Stop all the Clocks' by WH Auden, althiugh it may be another of his as it has the same lilt to it. I heard it read on the radio once by a woman with a long Indian-sounding name.
