I have a problem, i have two computers and one router both comps are connected the internet through the router and it works fine i cannot seem to get the comps to connect with each other for file transfer etc. have tried the xp network wizard but to no avail. can any1 help me and put it in simple terms please?

You have to make sure that the files on each computer are available to share.

If you want to share your My Documents folder, right-click on it and go to Properties. Then click on the Sharing tab at the top. You can then tick the Share this folder on the network option.
