Where to put this. I've just booked a hotel throught Booking.com. Does this mean that I'll be subscribing a sum of money monthly to them?

Nope - booking.com are dead straight - they take nothing from you. You pay the hotel - sometimes in advance, sometimes at the end of your stay - depends on the terms of the booking.

Thank you both, that's reassuring.
I've found some great deals through them.

Thank you Karen
I have used Booking.com ...all very straight forward.
I've used them as well and it's been fine. Does this mean you're going on holiday somewhere exciting, Sibs?

Hi kiki, just the annual trip to Ayr in September but everywhere is fully booked from one year to the next because of the races. I was lucky to get the last double room in my favourite hotel. Normally we would book again at the end of our stay but weren't sure of the dates of the race meeting. Thanks to you and kloof also.
