Am sat there on the sofa (well, lying really) with the cat asleep (if they are every truly asleep that is!) up my arm, trying to type one handed, have just had to put my knitting down for a bit as it was hurting knitting on and angle.

My arm has gone numb yet I don't have the heart to get her to shift...she's making those little contented sigh noises too.

Ahhh the things we do, I'm such a soft touch! :)

...and then some :)
Awwww, bless you, I think we are soft regarding our pets and I would do the same...would hate to wake her....
Jenna, I have a nightmare time when I am knitting, No. 1 son sits on the back of the sofa behind me and keeps grabbing the knobs on the needles...
I am stretched out on the sofa and my dog has just jumped up, squeezed himself between my legs and the cushions, and wormed his head round the screen until his chin is resting on the keyboard!
Very hard to type but even harder to ignore those adoring brown eyes :)
I've slept on the floor before now, to avoid disturbing a cat on the bed!
I know the feeling Jenna, dozed off on the sofa this afternoon, woke up with a dog asleep across my ankles, another across my knees and a cat on my chest, it was the cat that woke me up,the end of her tail was going across my face like a windscreen wiper and she was purring like an engine. X
I was in bed last night with ASBO on my chest and Binnie next to me. I spent about 20 minutes stifling a cough so I didn't disturb the snoring buggers.
Chris you are a martyr to catdom, a true convert to the teachings of chairman meow :)
just over a year ago my dog nicked my glass of Baileys whilst I was having a kip (she'd never gone anywhere near alcohol before, and hasn't since) After walking her around the block five times in an attempt to sober her, I had to sleep with her in the DOG BED to stop her banging her head into the wall. She puked over my arm a few times. It was like dealing with a drunk teenager. Animals! Who'd have them?
I haven't been very well this week and a few days ago I was in bed, the OH had fine shopping so Isla, my fairly large dog decided to come and keep me company on the bed. She was happily stretched out whilst we both dozed for a while, but gradually she spread out - the OH came home to find nee in about one eighth of the bed and]also stretched out snoring over the rest. He thought this was hilarious
but said why didn't you just move her and I said I couldn't because she looked so
Sorry, pressed wrong key on this hyper sensitive phone!

Looked so sweet, her paws were twitching and,she was doing little barks in her throat and she was having a wonderful time in her dream. Do they take advantage or not!
I will move Eric if he's getting on my tits or if I'm uncomfortable... But if he's being naughty and lying on the bed or something when he shouldn't be but is looking sufficently cute, then I'll probably leave him.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwww

You're all mad!
I just move Brian if he gets in the way.
My dog is not allowed to the bed , or the fabric sofa, however she gets on the leather one with me and promptly kicks me in the side. Bless her.......
I used to watch tv with my dear old Tigger and if I lay on mu front, propped up on my elbows, he would sit between my shoulder blades and purr comfortably,he was very happy there. Only one problem is that he used to dribble quite a bit, and suddenly you'd feel moisture down the back of your neck!
