See our caring goverment and the labour mob want some thing done about people being obese .Yeah sure nothing else to do. They will come out as usual with a report which cost millions and then find the cost of putting it into action and keeping it going it to expensive so it will be dropped .Why should an overweight ,overpaid useless politition tell us what to do .Get your fat noses out of our own business .

surely he was joking about drinking that much every day, even some of my old muckers didn't drink that much a day, somewhere around 10/12 pints, some of them are dead now by the way.

No joke Em, a few years ago we had a 'drink 7,get one free' offer in our local. That's how we know.
Incidentally, I thought I was a 20 pint man but some days struggled to get a free one.
Well, saying that, it might have been the second free one. Can't remember now.

It seems that the fat and sugar soaked processed food that many people regard as a normal diet sends the wrong messages to the brain. It tells us that we are not satisfied even when we are stuffed. Therefore a lot of those who are considered greedy slobs are being controlled by the stuff they eat.

As the manufacturers mostly dont give a toss over health issues who else but the government to advise and help the obese.

Why just pick on the fat? To be truthful, I'm not convinced that the obese cost the NHS any more that those who smoke, take drugs, or drink more than the recommended daily allowance. Over the last three years I've done a lot of hospital visiting seeing friends and taking friends to see loved ones, and in all that time I think I've only seen two bigger than average patients occupy a bed. I don't want people to take this what I say now as racist as nobody can help getting sick, but I'm sure another big cost for the NHS are for those people who haven't contributed to the system for whatever means.
