Had a full cooked breakfast, this morning haven't eaten all day, just had beef cooked in red wine (or boeuf bourguignon if you want to be posh!) with mashed potates and buttered carrots, and it was gorgeous! Plenty left I used 3lb of diced steak, two sons have got to eat yet though!
I did that recipe that Hellmans mayonnaise were advertising over Christmas. Cheese mixed with mayo, then spread over chicken fillets and topped with breadcrumbs. Delicious!
About to have chicken with a kind of bubble and squeak. Inside of baked potato cooked yesterday mixed with chopped onion and some broccoli. Pinch of cajun seasoning.
A fried egg sandwich dipped in a mixture of hot chipotle/tomato sauces, a chocolate and a marzipan thingy, now laying into three tins of Polish beer:
one of Specjal and two of Okocim Mocne.
I'm curious about the slogan printed round the top of one, it says:
"Bogaty Pelny SMAK!" is this the sound of someone who's had too much staggering round before finally hitting the deck? (any Polish speakers here?)
Marinated Chicken, in a garlic and mushroom sauce on a plate of short grain rice doused in butter followed by a few mince pies and custard... the party never ends ;-)
Well the lads polished off the lot, and the mash and carrots, AND then they finished off the apple pie and custard and the black cherry cheesecake from yesterday - I don't know where they put it, growing I suppose!!
