Ipad Defaults To Mobile Version
18 Answers
If I go to a web page which has a normal and a mobile version, like say the Seagulls website, my iPad automatically takes me to the mobile version. Which is crap. Can I stop it doing that?

The default to mobile is done when the website detects your device.
It does not matter if it is an Apple or an Android device, the website does the switch not the device.
I loathe most mobile versions, and they are particularly unnecessary on the iPad. As mentioned earlier, if you check the site there is usually a link back to the desktop version.
