I have less than a week before the subscirption expires on my security and anti-virus protection. There are so many conflicting views on the best and most reliable options; whether to pay or take freeby I wondered if we might have a poll for a few days?

Do you use x,y, or z? etc
Would be an enormous help

I'm leaning toward unistalling Norton and buying it again as a new customer. Best price around is about £25. I've always been really happy with it but reluctant to pay the renewal fee of £65.

My second choice was to be MSE but I read this today and lost my nerve.

Installing the free Microsoft Security Essentials will protect your system from malware—to a degree. But you'll get better protection from one of the other well-known free anti-malware products.
