I can't count how many pairs of footwear I have if you include wellies (5), boots (5 at least), slipons (5?), flip flops/sandals (5), lace ups (4), dealer boots (2), trainers/walking shoes (5) slippers (3)......plus bags in the loft of old ones kept 'just in case'....
4 pairs of shoes - was 5 but my 8 year old Doc Marten shoes gave up the ghost just before chrimbo
4 pairs trainers - varying colours
1 pair of slippers (no pipe - don't smoke!)
Because, erm, got fed up of driving around with a bootful of footwear so I got a set of everything at each house. So many wellies because I often wear them for days in succession and they sometimes get weet.
Some are FM wellies....
Including work boots, riding boots, trainers and flip flops 42 pairs in total, which sounds a lot but doesn't actually seem a lot because I wouldn't want to get rid of any.
Mine are rugged butch FM not tarty FM.
They have their own sharply defined tread patten and contoured footplate which is oftentimes attractively covered in Muckenscheidt....
