Other than where i live which is great.....i would go for Carbis Bay near St Ives in Cornwall, followed by Bournemouth's expansive stretch......The Witterings are also lovely.

Oh definitely... If I were to just go for a beach because it's nice then I might say the beaches in Hayle... But I've got some *** relatives there so it tarnishes the place for me, maybe they'll move one day... ;o)

Dawlish, (South Devon) because I was born and raised there and Westward Ho! (North Devon) because its a 2 minute drive from where I live now. Having spent most of my life in seaside resorts I dont have any desire to visit other ones, I crave the quiet and peace of the country side (where I live now) especially around mountains and stream where we are moving to shortly.
