I dont know if anyone remembers the saga of my son who was offered a 15 hours a week 3 month job with tesco's and was desperate to take it but was having trouble with public transport. Well after nearly 2 years on job seekers he has really enjoyed working - his 3 months is up and and they have increased his hours to 30 so we have high hopes that he will be given a permanent contract. I had such good feed back on here and sometimes its nice to know how stories progress. Happy Christmas to everyone x

They are so desperate for people to work over Christmas that they are arranging to pick him up on Boxing Day and New years day and bringing him home again, so hopefully a few brownie points there too. He is a different person since he started working and I really feel for anyone who wants to work and cannot it is the most demoralising thing.Once again thank you so much for being interested and a Happy and healthy New Year to you x
