Hotmail I Cant Type Anything In My Email

I hate hate hate modern f**** technology when sending an email in hotmail I cant type anything in the body of the email it wont let me is hotmail knackered at the moment or is my computer. I did have Kapersky and I kicked them into touch I wonder if that has screwed it up for me. I am raging I have important emails to send I hate technology in fact I hate this world !!

Could you try writing your mails in Word and then paste them into the body of your Hotmail?

You've not told us whether you're trying to access Hotmail via a web browser (if so, which one?) or an email client (again, which one?).

I'm guessing that it's a browser problem. Check that you're using the latest version. (Update if required). Try closing the browser, restarting your computer and opening the browser again. Or try a different browser. Or try accessing Hotmail via POP3:

And, after you've sorted out your current problems, ditch Hotmail (which I wouldn't touch with the proverbial bargepole) and opt for a decent email service instead:

Hotmaill had a big problem with just this a few years ago.
I guess you're not a new user of it ?

I get this everytime i try to compose a new email in hotmail, I have to tap the enter key or tap the touch pad a couple of times for the curser to appear and start flashing ready for typing. i've just got used to doing that, not a big issue really

It was fine until some silly cow who claimed to be a systems manager told me to change a whole lot of things on my computer to get Kapersky installed which never worked anyway now I think she has knackered it

Download Ccleaner to get rid of the remnants of Krapersky. If still desperate, do a system restore to last week. Overkill, but probably a quick fix.

I hope that solves it. I'm not sure though how Kaspersky can have caused this- if it has caused it then Kaspersky mustn't be a good tool

Assuming you're on Win7 ........... hit "Start" and just type "system restore" into the search box

Or ..... "Strat" ... "all programs" .... accessories .... system tools

I had kapersky installed last year , and have never had any trouble at all with it.
