Interestingly, well to me anyway, you only need three things for any dial-up connection: a username, a password and a telephone number. Armed with these you can simply create a new dial-up networking connection and get onto the internet. I suggest you find out what `these are. You can then uninstall all the ntlworld software, delete all the current dial-up networking settings then create a new default one. In the internet settings under connections tick "always dial my default connection" and on the dial-up box you can tick the "automatically dial-up" box. I don't really like doing the latter since any request to the internet will cause it to dial out whether I instigated it or not.
