My late mother was given her gall stones to keep. They were in a plastic phial thing and she kept them for the rest of her life. Don't know what happened to them after she died though. I certainly didin't "inherit" them, nor would I wish to. If they had been my own , I probably would've kept them. Maybe put them under my pillow and hope that the Stone Fairy would leave me a sixpence?
