I notice that it doesn't menton AB's T&C's, particularly the one that says all males posting here agree to leave their bodies to B00 for medical research.

Urgh, all male bodies? For me? Do I haveta? Can't I pass? It got me into trouble in the past that kinda shenanigans, far too old (and cranky) for all that malarky now!
social networks effectively own your online content.

Well if they can make use of the endless drivel I post on the internet ...then good luck to them.
I think most people are aware of all that Ron which is why they were surprised by the hoo haa over dotty''s post appearing on Facebook- it''s a pretty standard T&C for any online site.
What is the saying? If a service is free, you are the product.

AnswerBank, FaceBook et al make their money from their users - traffic to adverts. They need to promote their sites and attract new users.

AnswerBank is good because it does not sell our information such as email addresses to third parties, unlike some other sites.

If you want to keep something private, don't post it online - anywhere.
