I have a cover for my kobo glo that turns the kobo off (puts it in sleep mode) when you close the cover, and turns it on when you open it....no need to use the slider switch on the reader itself. My question is, how does it do this? There doesn't seem to be anything different about the cover, I tried using my kindle cover to see if that would work too but it doesn't. I'm baffled.

Not a huge amount on the web but it does seem to be a magnet about 0.5cm up from the bottom right hand corner http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=190355
