Kindle Fire Not Charging

As title I suppose. Son has only had it since Sunday, I have tried different leads//socket combinations and it is just not charging - any ideas? Thanks.

Amazon are so keen for you to buy books digitally (as they make sooo much margin on them) that they will replace your kindle for just about any reason. Call their helpline and they will send your son a new one next day, he just has to agree to send the old one back.

I bought it from PC world/Currys - should I just take it back there.

Have not had the same experience with my HD sherrard, but took a quick look on the interweb, and it is a topic that seems to be raised quite a lot.

If you got it from new, it should still be under warranty, and I would recommend getting in touch with customer services for advice.

It's charging now but it has been trial and error. Think I will take it back tomorrow, it's only four flipping days old after all.
