Am applying tonight for a course for keyboarding lessons but like that I am scared of the ageism - maybe I will be with a load of kids who can grasp that more quickly - have not played in 7 years so really it isn't like riding a bike - shall I go and how will I overcome the ageism. Thanks

Couldnt believe it all my age and I loved it - there were about 10 people between age 55-65 - but they have been going for some time - had I have known about this course I would have gone a long time ago better late than never. Having said that a young girl teaching (lovely wee girl) but because I come across as "normal" nobody notices I am quite deaf and have my own coping mechanisms for getting through ie lipreading etc. anybody who has no hearing loss finds it hard to understand. But I used to be a typing manager in the Civil Service and couldnt believe one of my staff was there too so that made it nice too. Will keep it up. But you do know a little about the stuff - just after playing baby stuff for an hour. Brill!!!
