Still having problems, my emails keep disappearing. Only from in box, sent and deleted are still there. Only stay on for a couple of minutes. Been through al the settings and can't find anything to solve it. Anyone any ideas please.

Have you got a folder that says All Mail, if so, they may be in there.

No Rocky I haven't. it was ok yesterday. This morning there were 14 emails when I opened it. Two minutes later they had gone. Tonight two came through, showed for WTO minutes and vanished, followed by one more that also went.

Have you viewed and deleted them elsewhere?

No, I haven't done that. Just looked at them then looked away, then they were gone!

That's odd. I had a quick google and one suggestion was to reconfigure the account, now, to be honest that just whooshed right over the top of my head, I'll see if there's any info out there about how to do it.

Do you ever check them elsewhere? It sounds like they are being downloaded somewhere else. In the mail settings, make sure that leave a copy on the server is ticked

They come on the main PC as well. But until this morning never had a problem.

Delete your account on the ipad and then set it up again. Make sure that "leave a copy on the server" is ticked on the main computer.

Sometimes on my iPad I have to look under Exchange to locate some of my emails.

Spotit, I have been through all settings but haven't seen exchange anywhere.

iPad account are in settings, mail. On your computer, I don't know, it depends what email program you use, I am on a mac so different from windows

It has just done it again, I had 4 more emails, they were there for about 30 minutes, I went back on the site and suddenly they had gone. Infuriating

When I am in hotmail over to the left it says Mailboxes and in the list blew that it says Exchange. When I click on that all my email folders come up. Hope you get it sorted.

Try this

Settings
Mail, contacts, calendars
Look for accounts, click on yours (mine is gmail)
Then make sure archive messages is on.

That should save all your messages in 'all mail folder', at least you should still have the mail until we can sort out whats wrong.
