Afternoon Boys And Girls!

Well it started snowing at 8.30 am, and is now coming down pretty heavy, and its windy too so the snow is coming sideways. Everywhere is completely white. Son is on way home as they have shut his school early.

So ive made a sausage casserole in the slow cooker, logged on to talk to you lovely people, and look outsie as the snow gets deeper.

Downside is that my MIL's party for tomorrow night is getting to be a bit of a disaster as people are already cancelling due to being unable to get there(some were driving from Wales). Oh well, all the more food for us lot! : )

I'm supposed to have friends over for dinner tomorrow night so I'm praying that this snow will bugger off soon. I've bought a big leg of lamb and I've no room in the freezer to save it.

i'd cook it rocky then use the left overs to make a curry or something that you can pack into the freezer

Yep, there's a huge carpet of cold white dung coating everything here in SW London and I'm going off like the intrepid abominable smowman to get some beer!

Alba -I let Zac out at about 7 this morning and he went and rolled in it for about 5 minutes. Nutter.

Woman in front of me at shop this morning was buying a sledge for grandson, I hope they plan on going where there will be snow otherwise a very disappointed ittlle boy.Although, we've still got Feb and March to go.

I will cook it, the kids will delighted as they'll get to eat it, as opposed to the spag bol they would have got if my friends come. :0)

just had a phone call from the garage

the car passed the MOT (much to my surprise, given the age of it) however, there are 'advisories' noting some work may be required before the MOT next year

i shall go and pick it up tomorrow .. and book an appointment for the necessary work for next month
