This is one of those controversial statements but I fully stand behind it.

Women should not have children after 35!
Some say, "Of course women can have children after 35!"
They don't know what they are talking about and I can guarantee they have had very little experience in the matter.

I don't care what the doctor says.
I don't care what your friends say.
I don't even care what your vicar says.
Women should not have children after 35!
I don't advise it, I vehemently recommend against it,
and loudly and even at times rudely tell people "don't even consider it."

You can quote me on this. If you want to say that I said it. And I said it more than once.
"Women should not have children after 35!"
Some will send rude e-mails proclaiming the freedom of the womb but I still stand by what I said.
You may disagree with me, that I am your right.
I still stand firm on the issue.

With most things I keep an open mind but not on this issue.
If I find an exception to this rule, then I will be open to change
but for now, it's firmly closed because I have never seen an exception.
Women should not have children after 35!

35 children are quite enough!

I was going to put the limit at 30 until I got to the punchline and then I laughed not only at the joke but at myself for getting sucked in!!

In hospital after the birth of my first baby, a song on the radio a lot was You picked a fine time to leave me Lucille. One other new Mum said she ought to leave him because "four hundred children and the crops in the field" were more than enough, she was a bit dim! For the younger members of AB, and that's probably the majority, the line was "four hungry children and the crops in the field"

I remember that song so well zebo. I guess you are a G/mother now?

Jem
Good one Jem. i was beginning to think why is this in the joke section 'til I got to the last bit.
Zebo I knew a joke about that Kenny Rogers song. The punchline was the song title but I can't remember the rest of it :-(

for a moment, i was wondering what you were doing
I was going to put the limit at 30 until I got to the punchline and then I laughed not only at the joke but at myself for getting sucked in!!
Quite right lol
Jemisa, a g'mother 4 times over and hopefully stopped counting!
This a worse joke than excells
Miss Prim, the joke that you're thinking off is a long shaggy dog story about Kenny; in the end he is running away from someone who is chasing him, and his shoe breaks. The punchline is "you picked a fine time to leave me loose heel". I don't know exactly how the beginning of the story goes though.
Nice one Jem, did wonder where it was going though, Lol
