Sorry, the first one, 12 D should have said Even Stevens.
21 Scottie (dog, it's (a)scot/racecourse+tie/moor).
The clue for 36 is actually 'Apt to repeat...'
The answer is 'echoic' - the 'e' from choice (what's on menu) becomes the starter (in the word.
