I thought iPads were clever.

Mine is just half witted. It won't learn new words.

It STILL ... for instance, after about six months ... It doesn't know the word "sqad" ... aah, crap, it just did it again ... and tries to tell me I'm looking for the word "squad".

How can I teach the sodding thing to learn new words ???

Grrr !!

Can't you right click the word and add it to your dictionary?

Can you do a right click on an iPad?

It has no clicky button.
it'll have a cursor thingy though, won't it?

No. There's no cursor with an iPad.
you can go Settings, keyboard, and turn off auto correct if that helps?
Once you click the little x in the suggestions bubble, it should never suggest for that word again and should have learned the one you want as well.
Don't bother, it doesn't work.
You have tought it 'crap' 'sodding' and 'Grrr' so just persevere, jj ;)
Oops, does work.

I put Sqad in for phrase, and sqad in shortcut, it seems to work like that!
