My commute is a bit complicated; Bedroom to bathroom to kitchen to study (eventually) Encountered a bit of turbulence in the bathrom, otherwise ok, apart from a diversion due to a bacon sarnie in the kitchen.

\\\My husband has a 160 mile round trip commute by train. He's in the office now. We have thick snow here, and the snow ploughs are out on the roads, but things seem to be working ok.\\\\
and that post is the bottom line...."where there's a will, there's a way."
Just a good excuse for some folks not to turn up for work.
I can never remember schools closing because of snow.
In the early 70's one of my colleagues living in a snowbound area came to his out patient session on a tractor.
Come on now.......

I have a day off today, not that it makes any difference, not a speck of snow here in my parts of Devon! Snow never kept me off school or work but these days I would not risk getting a child to school in treacherous conditions with some of the idiots you see driving in the snow and ice, education is not so important to risk their lives just for a day or two. I would have to walk to work about a 2 hour walk, the people I look after cant look after themselves.
