These are not cheap and it really does pay to buy the very best you can afford and PLEASE do NOT get an older model. Ask your Corgi installer how many condensing boilers he has fitted (they can be tricky to fit). We have just had to replace a 10 yr old Vaillant combi (a flue part we needed is no longer available and yes we searched everywhere!). The new condensing combi is much more efficient so we feel the cost has been worth it.

It is not quite true that you now have to fit a condensing boiler. There are exceptions if it is impractical or too expensive.
