Tambo .......... sounds like it's in Gmaj.
Classic 1-6-2-5 chord sequence.

In G that would be.........

G - Em7 - Am7 - D7

The tune I think just moves around those chords. The bridge does the usual and goes to the 4 chord (C ......... properly Cmaj7) ....... then Cm, then Am7, and to D7 for the turnaround.

Intro single notes but harmonised is (barred at the 3rd position)
Gmaj | G#dim | Amin7 | D7 (also used as the turnaround)

Verse: barred at 3rd position
Gmaj | G#dim or E7 | Amaj or A7 | D7 | turnaround using above )

Bridge: (3rd position)
Cm | Gmaj | Amaj or A7 | D7 |

Repeat until bored !

Typo that was meant to be Cmaj, not a Maj 7th though.

Listened to it louder and more closely and last bar leading into the bridge theres an implied G7, guitar doesnt play it but the vocals sing it

so its D7 then Gmaj G7

make sure you play the chords in the positions given, eg, play a G with open strings and it will sound krap, but at the third barred its fine.

I need to try various sequences for key/voice comfort. G is too high sometimes & convert to A ?

sure you can plat it in any key, but youll find that the Gmaj | G#dim or E7 | Amaj or A7 | D7 sits nicely on the bottom E string

Gmaj at the 3rd, G#Dim at the 4th and Am7 the 5th, D7 3rd pos root on the 5th

all at the 3rd pos box, doesnt get much easier and it sounds right
