Joint Home Owners, One Needs To Go Into Care
8 Answers
Hello, I understand that the government will take away your home if you live alone and need to go into a care home due to ill health to pay for it , but if you live with a friend (ie not married or recognised partnership) and jointly own the property and one needs to go into a home (the friend cannot cope) what happens then? is the healthy person still entitled to live in the property outright?
