I couldn't stand to use sheets and blankets - a featherdown duvet for me. So much easier to re-make on a morning.

i've got a couple of goose down ones - winter and summer weights and i think they are brilliant. have tried fibre one but ditched it within a week and went back to down.

asked this question because talking to someone the other day and they use blankets. just wondered if anyone else still had blankets. but apart from saucy people like owd you all seem to have duvets.

OK I'll own up, I can't stand duvets, even the 4.5 tog is too hot for me. I use cotton cellular blankets. So far this winter I have on my bed top and bottom sheets, one cotton blanket and one heavy cotton bedspread. Plus a fluffy throw that is more for decoration.
