Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I've finished it, but there's one clue I don't get.
8d Boar's Head at Eastcheap, say, a subject for drama?

DOLLS HOUSE (Ibsen) is obviously the answer to the definition.

Doll's = Boar's, I assume (from Chambers )
but what is the relevance of Eastcheap here?

An explanation would be gratefully received!!

The Boar's Head Tavern, on Eastcheap, featured in historical plays of Shakespeare as a favourite of the fictional character Falstaff and his friends. It was the subject of essays by Oliver Goldsmith and Washington Irving. Established before 1537, but destroyed in 1666 in the Great Fire of London, it was soon rebuilt, and continued operation until some point in the late 18th Century. What remained of the building was demolished in 1831.

So the Boar's Head was Doll's House.
That's not a part of Shakespeare with which I'm familiar!
Lucky I knew about Ibsen, then! ;-)
