Has anyone got any experience of minecraft on you tube. My 7 year old grandson is obsessed with it, to the point his mum has had to confiscate the laptop, as it seems to be changing his personality. He is clever boy, but since this obsession he has become vague and moody. I have watched these videos and cant see the attraction.

I have read your other post on this. You cant play minecraft on YouTube - its a website that people post video clips to, so he can only be watching video clips of people playing Minecraft.

Surely it cant be too difficult to restrict the amount of laptop time a 7 year old has?

Booldawg I did not say my grandson had been playing minecraft on you tube. I thought I had made it obvious he had been watching videos by my last sentence. Obviously it is not difficult to restrict his use of the laptop he is a child as does as he is told.
