They cancelled my order earlier on in the week, so to compensate they gave me £10 in my next shopping trolley and a free delivery, so that coupled with the instore rolled back prices and two for one savings of £14.73, I've saved £10 +£14.73 +£5 delivery, and they had everything I wanted and only made one substitution (on a pack of sweeties) So all in all I've saved £29.73, plus I didn't have to use petrol to get there, or go out in the horrible cold snow and ice, I think I've had a real bargin!
Possibly the best bargain I ever got from Asda was when I purchased some short-dated yoghurts which had been reduced to a few pence each but Asda had forgotten to cancel the normal multi-buy discounts. So the till's computer deducted more from the price than I actually paid, meaning that Asda were paying me to take their yoghurts away!
Asda is my favourite store but our nearest one is about 26 miles away and they dont deliver in this area yet. I keep putting my post code in and hoping.
