Accessing Hotmail

Just trying to access my Hotmail, either direct or via msn. etc and getting this warning:

"This Connection is Untrusted. You have asked Firefox to connect securely to dub002.mail.live.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.

What Should I Do? If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue."

Anyone else get this or is it just me?

Yes, I think many people are in the same boat. I have been getting the same message on my two laptops and using all my web browsers (chrome, firefox and IE). I then tried to access my hotmail account on my smartphone via chrome and it worked. The 'url' I saw in the address line is the https://dub002.mail.live/.... I guess this means that the 'url' is genuine, but what I cannot understand is why all the web browsers are 'shouting foul'. Something must be happening at the hotmail web server.
Can someone who knows more than us help?

It simply means that there's an error in Hotmail's security certificate (or a fault on the server that provides it). It presets no more cause for real concern than actually using the dreaded Hotmail (which is notorious for locking people out of their accounts, or simply losing mail) does in the first place.
