Just read this Italian proverb
After the game is over
the King and the Pawn finish up in the same box
I have my own thoughts on this but not to sure, anyone have any ideas please?
'Tis all a chequer-board of nights and days
Where destiny with men for pieces plays,
Hither and thither moves, and mates, and slays,
And one by one back in the closet lays.
