Morning Daniel. Thanks as usual!
A real "stinker" today! A wild guess at 1d gave me the theme early on, but progress is slow. Nearly there now though - how's everyone else finding it?
I found this tough, but fun. I've got a full grid, just working out how 14 clues/letters will take me to the person!
many thanks as always
Thanks, Daniel! This one will keep me awake for hours! All the best.
Definitely one of the more challenging (especially when you're hard-pressed for time & there's a long electricity cut in the middle)!
I've filled the grid, got the name but not sure about the leftovers, three of which I haven't even identified yet.
Got it! Following instructions does help sometimes.
Please share teenieleek. I'm in the same position.
What do you need toalisi?
This puzzle is even cleverer in construction than it seems. If you haven't already done so, write out the 23 extra letters - in clue order - from the 'hidden consecutive jumble' clues and see the four words they spell.
Thanks Daniel for sending the crossword.

I agree with Bootlebarth that it was a very cleverly constructed puzzle especially where the extra letters from the jumbles were concerned.
I suppose it would have been a perfect construction if the omitted letters had been 10 instead of 14, but that is being niggly and probably stems from having to helped over the line by an AB friend!
Many thanks DJA.
I groaned when I saw Columba and have spent quite some time mumbling to myself but had a Eureka moment and all done now .
