Thanks for the reminder, the form was buried in my magazine rack, but is out again now. We'll fill up the feeders later and do our watch in the morning.
I did mine yesterday for the first time. But a little confused about one bird.? It is small and brown all over, or looks like it from a distance, I used to think they was sparrows? but looking at the Rspb form it isnt.?
It might have been a dunnock lilacben.
I did my count yesterday and was really pleased to see a couple of coal tits, not seen them for a year or two here.
Apart from waxwings, it's been a very poor year for garden birds compared to the 3 previous years. No house sparrows or starlings, very few tits & finches, even the wood pigeons are on the thin side.
