Play station interface

I want to connect my playstation two to run through the monitor on my pc is this possible. I am thinking of upgrading my crt to a flat screen LCD monitor would this help. I know you can get tvs with multiple input but are monitors available or can I buy some leads and gizmos.

I looked into this a while ago, If you have a TV tuner on your PC you can connect it through that, but the picture isn't too crisp.

My father as a DV-Link which he connect the camcorder to for video editing - that has input for video/audo(the red/white/yellow cables) but they are generally expensive - but the best option.

You can also buy from game and some other places (maybe ebay?), a small conversion box which allows you to plug the playstation cables directly into the monitor, but again - the picture quality is reduced.
