Like Sandy I always called it a bulb horn. I have one that I used to train my cats not to go near the road.

I'd leave 'klaxon' out, just bulb horn. But wait and see what others think

Would think that's ok Rocky. I always think a bulb horn has one note...beeeep.. and a klaxon horn has more than one ...eeeee...awwwww....but I could be wrong. Bulb horn aka as klaxon horn?

Ah, thanks Gness, that helps a lot, she had to find a cartoon and think about what instuments were used to make the sounds this is for the Roadrunner, so she just needs the one sound of beep, so I'll tell her to just put bulb horn.
