Bruising Without Bashing ...!
11 Answers
My foot just below my right ankle bone is terrible sore and bruised, yet I have not sprained it or bashed it (clumsy as I am!).
I've never experienced this before. Can anyone offer any explanation please?
Many thanks in advance ...x

Something similar happened to me when I was young, but on the top of my foot near my toes.
My doctor at the time seemed to think I'd just landed wrong somehow while walking and that I'd either torn a ligament or broken a small bone. He didn't even bother with an X-ray.
I've had no trouble from it since mind.

No that certainly is difficult to explain unless you are on some kind of medicine for a pre existing medical condition.
I also presume that you have no skin bruises elsewhere on your body.
The pain is odd....under the ankle...maybe you have plantar fasciitis (Google it). In the meantime, Ibuprofen 400mgms as an when necessary should help.
