does anyone have any info about how i can start up delivering parcels for the likes of amazon or next - ive heard that a company like parcelforce deliver a load of parcels to your house then you go around your local are delivering them to peoples houses ? thanks.

We have adverts in our local paper quite often, for bulk delivery drivers - that's a good place to start, it works in the way you describe.

Try looking at the Hermes website, I think they have an application form. I used to do his sort of work and it can b harder work than it looks. You will need to have somewhere like a garage to store the parcels at will be delivered to you for you to them pass on. I used to get 10 -15 very large sacks of stuff a day for a fairly small 'patch'. You are paid per parcel delivered and have to pay for your own fuel. You won't get rich but it can be a good job to fit in with school hours.
