It was also during this time that they gave up half our rebate and refused the referendum.

Oh really ! We joined in 1973 when there were 9 States .
During the next 22 years only 6 more were added making 15 .
Then Blair/Brown added another 10 making 25
and 2 yrs later they added another 2 making 27
So during Labour's watch the increase was double that of the previous 22 years
What is more they accepted another 10 candidates
