Having watched the first episode in this series, I found it very interesting although very disappointed while talking about electric motors and generators, no mention was made about Nicola Tesla's major contribution on AC generators and the fact that we all now use AC current directly to our homes.
Does anyone agree?
I do agree that the emphasis was mainly on British inventors, but Edison was given a slot in there mainly because of his idea of a centralised power source he installed in London (I think it was).....
I just thought Nikola Tesla deserved a mention for his improvements and opposing dedication to AC power versus Edison's DC advocacy if that makes sense....
