29. Not confident but there were rap singers called James Brown and jerome Woods so their surnames make up an actor. The answer should be 5.5.

Thanks again...your answer is much better(more my era...it was grandchildren suggested the rap singers!) As with many of these quizzes , however,the final result is the setters choice.

I'm sure the quiz setter will be very impressed. A request on the quiz sheet to refrain from posting on question and answer sites until after 16th April and it's totally ignored. Over a quarter of the answers given away in one thread when the quiz has only been out about a week and doesn't finish until the end of April will mean less sales. It's a pity the quiz setter probably doesn't know the actual names of those of you asking questions and hence can't disqualify your entries.

In Quizzes and Puzzles we occasionally have users decrying the posting of questions from a Quiz which has not been out very long or where the setter has asked those entering not to use site such as this . . . however, we will not remove the question. This is a Q&A site after all. It is suggested that those wishing not to know the answer simply do not read the question.

I think the Eds opinion has changed since 2010 as when the Macmillan quiz setter made a request on here when advertising his quiz that no one asked for answers just clues and then not clues till a certain date when someone did ask early the Ed removed the question so maybe an update is needed

sir.prize - as ever you repeat the same statement but fail to answer the actual question. If someone is doing a quiz and either one of the rules of that quiz or a request from the quiz setter says no asking for help before a certain date then do you agree that the person doing the quiz should abide by that rule/request? If yes then you are agreeing the question should not have been asked on this site. If no then why do you believe it is reasonable to ignore the rules of the quiz or a request from the quiz setter?
