Viewing All Files, Folders, Docs, Images, Etc Etc As Thumbnails
4 Answers
is there a piece of software that can do this for them all?
i have adjusted the setting in the organise window, i have adjusted the folder options in control panel, i have tried a few other things and still i can just see the adobe pdf reader logo, the word doc logo, amongst others.
many do show up, pictures and videos etc, but not these.
the PDFs did show thumbnails for a while but stopped for some reason - no idea why.
i know with some programs you have to set them the save a thumbnail, but office 2010 apparenty doesnt allow that anymore and i dont want to wade through 1000s of docs opening them and resaving them, also some of these docs were not created by me.
is there some software that will batch convert them to a thumbnail view?
im on win 7
thanks

However this page suggests that Explorer++ might also be worth considering:

(Classic Shell is very popular. Explorer++ is new to me)

I'm fumbling in the dark here because I seem to spend a lot of my time disabling thumbnails (which I hate!).
