Yes Atilla, co-ordination can be learned. I have two left feet and hands and thought that I would never master driving a car. (my partner says I still haven't but he is one of these naturally skilled types and a chicken passenger to boot. You need to practise loads (do you like your neighbours? :-) You can also improve your skills by doing other co-ordination enhancing activities, like dancing (set routines)learning to juggle, anything that means that you use your hands and feet together rhythmically. Good luck and please don't move next door to me!!
Drumming ain't as easy as it looks!!! The way I was told by a few skin bashers is to learn first without using your feet just get the hands working...then once you can hold the beat without any great effort start bringing the hi-hat and bass into the mix. Keep trying you'll get there.
While sitting at your desk make clockwise circles with your right foot. While doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand. What direction is your foot going now?
That's really bizzarre, RCP.
