Help please - my daughter has a Blackberry Curve 9300, not sure what software it is running but she is having trouble downloading the latest App ID update, keeps crashing at 39%, can anybody please provide an idiots step by step guide how I can rectify.

Not sure if this will help, but you could try shutting down & then removing the battery which should clear any potential memory conflicts.

see about third way down the page regarding shutting down various running apps to avoid any memory issues.

Thanks for that, have tried what you suggest and seem to have plenty of free space / all non-essential Apps closed down. Still won't download the latest Blackberry ID (gets stuck at 39%) as such can't access Blackberry App world ?

Could you expand a bit more on what it is exactly that your are trying to download i.e. what is latest App ID update referring to?

Presumably you have setup a Blackberry ID on the Blackberry site as per info at:
