Toyota...yes Or No?

I am due to change my car this year. I've never had a Toyota before, but I've read that they are 'bulletproof', 'ultra-reliable' etc. What are your experiences of Toyota? Would you recommend them?

Step father has had a Land Cruiser for 7 or so years without any problems.

I have had 2 Rav 4's and an MR2 and I have loved all 3 of them. Nothing ever went wrong with them, however if you are thinking of an MR2 don't drive it in the snow.....it's a very scary experience! ;)
