....that's me OFFICIALLY over and done with the laser treatment. Was very straight forward today and I practically ran out of the hospital.
I have a check up in April though and at some point in the future I may need to have a top up session to zap any 'newbies'
Just glad that it is all over and I have to say I think it has been well worth it - pain and all :)

Normally her Dad or I have been with her, but she wanted to go by herself so we left her at the hospital door and went off to do a bit of shopping in Edinburgh (we seldom go there these days the city centre is shambolic with those blessed tram works) and she called us when she was ready to be collected. My brave little soul!
Just noticed I had some unanswered responses on this thread
Tambourine, no wasn't for correctional purposes (although I think things have improved slightly - will find out on Monday after my optician visit) it was to stop blood vessels forming in the back of my eyes, since I decided to play Russian roulette with my diabetes as a teen I did some damage to my eyes - stupid I know a mistake I shall NOT be making again I must add.
Woofgang, sadly no I think the problem is with my laptop and possibly something to do with Windows 8, a girl at my work had a similar experience. Since my old laptop has decided to play ball with me I have made the decision that it will be my music hub until it really packs up and goes running to mamma - but thank you for all your help though most appreciated :) x
